Industrial coding solutions  Coding is part of the production process, in multiple stages: on package, on boxes, collective boxes or pallets. The coding process is about writing information: production date, expiration date, production lot, shift, ingredients, production hour, etc. Most of the information coded is: barcodes, data for compliance with legal regulations, but also specific information that producers want to code onto products. Boxes and pallet coding requires supplementary information for product transportation (forwarder identification data, number of items in the package, destination, etc.). We offer the most suitable solutions for coding directly onto product, package, box or pallet. The coding must be crisp and precise. A complete and correct coding prevents wrong manipulation or deliveries. Laser coding The newest coding technology that requires no consumables, no toxic solvents, no moving parts, perfect for tough working environments, easy to integrate on any packaging or bottling line, with a low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and increased productivity. Laser coding gives permanent, crisp, high quality codes, on labels, cartonboard, plastic, etc. Thermal transfer coding It is based on thermal printers and ribbons. The technology functions by melting the outer ribbon layer so that it "sticks" onto the material/label to be coded. Thermal transfer coding is durable and highly qualitative. It can be used on various materials, paper based or synthetic. InkJet coding The InkJet equipments are generally fast and provide good quality printing. InkJet technology is widely spread, due to low initial/acquisition costs. InkJet technology uses small quantities of ink that are spread onto the material (paper, plastic, cartonboard, etc.). The Continuous InkJet technology (CIJ) uses a high-pressure pump that directs liquid ink from a container, through microscopic channels, resulting a continuous spread of the ink droplets. |
